With only a few days before we had to say goodbye to the Island, we headed to the most northern tip, called the Point of Ayre. It is very rustic, with only 2 lighthouses and miles of rocky beaches. In all the years we have gone up there, we have never seen anyone swimming.
Heading back to the south, where our cottage was, we decided to take the scenic route, with many twists and lovely foliage!
Having spent the whole day outside, we treated ourselves to a dinner out at a very old Pub in the once capital of Castletown. I was able to get my 'fix' of lamb shanks!
One last post to go, then heading home!
