Living in our little corner of Ontario, we are most fortunate to be an hour's drive away from lovely, vibrant, small towns.
Just north of us is charming, heritage Perth
The Tay River runs through the centre of town
With many shops to browse, and restaurants to choose from,
our first stop was The Stone Cellar.
We ate on their cozy patio
I just had to try a local brew from Perth Brewery
We feasted on a 'nut' burger, with peach marmalade....
...and a lamb burger, topped with cranberries and brie!
After our yummy lunch, we strolled the downtown,
enjoying the local wall art

One of Perth's biggest heros was
Big Ben, a world champion show jumping horse.
His statue adorns Stewart Park
'Code's Mill' is now a shopping area
with a a great little restaurant, Fiddleheads Bar and Grill
It overlooks Stewart Park .
This lovely place is the original Stewart homestead..
..they donated all the land for Stewart Park
Stewart Park, which is a favourite spot for weddings.
It was a perfect day for an outing.
